There's something quite creepy about worms getting together to writhe, even if it is to proclaim their rightful place as number one. Lovely colours Coll, a strong illustration.
i AGREE, mr. t...when i was drawing it, i felt all skin crawly, like looking down into a bait bucket when you fish and everything is moving around in there. eeeeewwwww. "-))
Reminds me of the 'object forming' swarms of bees in 1940's cartoons.... a squiggly and surprising take on the topic Ms F. Lovely rich palette of colours too. I think we need to be worried... imagine what the worms could do if they cooperate and rise up to take over the planet...?!!
forgot to ask... I'm sure I'm being dense here but who is the chap who begs to differ on the left side of the illustration...? I like the look of him, whoever the fellow is...?! :-)
Ha! I thought to ask the same question, but didn't want to look daft :) Well done Mr M, for not being a coward. I like the idea of a 7 cent coin, I used to have a thrupenny bit (GN4AB) but lost it. I think there should be more prime number coinage, I'd like to see a 42p coin, or a 27p, though neither numbers are prime. I'm going to stop waffling now.

ReplyDeletePoor earthworms, all they want to do is have a good time, and here we are, getting all squeamish about them :)
